In the TED Talk “How Photography Connects Us,” photographer David Griffin explores the profound impact of photography on human connection. Griffin discusses how photographs serve as a universal language, transcending cultural and linguistic barriers to evoke emotions and foster understanding. Through powerful examples, he demonstrates how images have the ability to provoke empathy, spark dialogue, and inspire action. Griffin emphasizes the role of photography in shaping our collective memory and fostering a sense of shared humanity. He ultimately advocates for the use of photography as a tool for promoting empathy, understanding, and positive social change. I think the video was cool it showed famous photos taken by the best photographers and then gave a story about it. The TED talk was interesting it just wasn’t them talking it showed photos and story’s and how we can learn from them.
